So I haven't really been able to write too much lately because I have been so busy between Strutters, school, my new church that I have been attending and now finally being sick! Lately it seems like everything is really falling into place for me and my family, although it seems like I am always super busy nowadays!
The majority of these past few weeks has been spent practicing various routines over and over along with attempting to get through all of my schoolwork every night while also trying to make time for a daily devotional. There's also the struggle of getting plenty of sleep every night but I am enjoying every second of it!
This past month, I have been really enjoying a new youth group at the Woodlands United Methodist and I really love it there! There's always something going on during the weekends to be a part of and I love it! This past weekend I spent Super Bowl Sunday with everyone there and we had big couches all over the main room where we all watched the game on the big screen! We even got to eat lots of yummy food made by the parents :) In a little over two months I will be going to REACH weekend with the Loft and I am super excited!
This year seems to keep on getting busier and seemingly more expensive as the days go on, but I now only have 4 short months left at Klein Oak! I am so excited to see what these next few weeks bring and what exciting experiences I will gain. I'm still in contact with my awesome roommate for the fall, MK and we are both super excited to share our college experience together! We've even began to purchase different items for our dorm!
More soon!

The First Week Back & Strutter Ball Festivities!
This week was a bit stressful, but in the end everything has worked out. Monday & Tuesday were very long for me only because of the late practice and attempting to get into the swing of things again, but Wednesday seemed to go pretty smoothly, minus the rain! I finally got the courage to ask my sweet friend, Mason to Strutter Ball! Although the rain and some miscommunication definitely had me on edge, everything turned out very successful and he said YES! :) This weekend mom and dad have a seminar that they are speaking (Restoration Marriage) so prayers would be wonderful! :) This is just a short update on everything going on lately, and I hope you enjoyed it!

This was us after he said yes & the football says "Wouldn't it be a ball if you were my date to Strutter Ball?" I am so glad to be going with such a good friend :) |

Gig 'Em!
I started my day off Saturday with my best, Kimmie and getting our nails done/tanning for the night ahead at her house for the Cotton Bowl Party! We had a blast with her friends and family there and fortunately the SEC pulled another win over Oklahoma! Gig 'Em Aggies! I spent the night with my best, Kimmie and her family and I actually managed to wear an A&M t-shirt to rally with the Norton's!
My favorite part of the night was definitely spending some time with the twins while we were there since they're finally recognizing who I am! It's so exciting to see Cammie walking and Chloe beginning to walk as well!

The girls were great and Miss Margaret tended to brag about the scholarship letter I recently received to all her friends, HOW FUNNY! :) It was a good end to my break, and I am about to start my last half of the year at Klein Oak! It's so crazy how the first half of the year has already flown by, soon enough I'll be auditioning for State's dance team and then moving in my dorm July 8th! Hopefully there will be more to come in the weeks that are coming up! I'll try my best to keep y'all posted!

Christmas and New Years Adventures!
![]() |
Daddy and I walking into Reliant Stadium, Mom got some really great pictures from the game!! |
So it seems like every year I spend a little bit more time with my best friend, Kimmie around Christmas time, and this year was absolutely no different. We went on the 23rd to the annual Christmas Eve service at Fellowship of the Woodlands or Woodlands Church, whichever you personally call it and saw some really cool stuff!

This was at the nativity scene we saw walking into the church so we decided it was a MUST to get a picture with the camel! |
Then, finally, it was Christmas morning! The Luker family was up super early to go feed the homeless which was definitely one of the biggest blessings I could have asked for this Christmas. The people in Houston were so thankful for the little that we had done. It was something I will never forget and something that I definitely would like to do again with my family. I have learned through this that sometimes all it takes to put a smile on the homeless population of Houston's faces happens to be a little respect and kindness.
New Years Resolution
I have spent the majority of Christmas break extremely busy and with few breaks, but I have finally found the time to begin one of my New Years Resolutions, which just so happens to be starting a blog. I have decided (after reading my SIL, Julie's) that this would be a great way to let my family keep up with my crazy busy world and to share all of my many adventures with them. So enjoy! Love y'all!
